Nigerian Army Releases 182 Boko Haram Prisoners In Borno State

Nigerian Army has released 182 Boko Haram suspects from Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, Borno State. This was disclosed by the army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, who said that the “joint intelligence community investigated and authorised the release of these prisoners.”

He added that the release was part of Nigeria’s National Army Day, which was held on July 6, to commemorate the first shots of Nigeria’s Civil War at Garaken, Cross River State.

The 40 boys, 24 women, 100 adult men and 18 children prisoners were reportedly released to the state governor.

In addition to the prisoners release, Colonel Usman said that the army was celebrating the opening of a new military centre. He revealed that the army would provide two days of free medical treatment for Borno State residents, and award Purple Heart and Operation Zaman Lafiya medals to soldiers fighting Boko Haram. All these events were tied to Nigeria’s National Army Day.

Meanwhile, the military has confirmed that more people detained for alleged links with the Boko Haram sect will be released after being cleared by its joint intelligence cell.

Last month, the Nigerian army handed over four foreigners and 124 Nigerians detained in connection with the Boko Haram terrorist group to the state governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima.

How We're Reviving The Naira & The Economy – VP Osinbajo

To diversify the economy, the Federal Government is collaborating with rice-producing states in the North to step up the commodity’s production. Self-sufficiency in rice and wheat production, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, would ease the pressure on the naira.

The naira exchanges for N197 to the dollar at the official market. It is over N200 at the parallel market.
Osinbajo said the Naira which has plummeted against major currencies would gain value, by moving away from the current mono-product (oil) economy; ensuring an increase in earnings; exporting more products and driving infrastructural development through local and foreign direct investment.

The vice president, who spoke in Enugu, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic policies would produce a stronger naira and by earning and exporting more the currency’s value will improve.

The government, he said, was exploring self sufficiency in rice and wheat production which would also help in strenghtening the naira.

“We are trying to ensure that we are self-sufficient in rice and wheat production, so that there will be less pressure on the dollar. One of the major issues is that we have to earn more foreign exchange to raise the value of the naira.

"We also have to do more business internally to raise the value of the naira. So diversifying the economy is an important way to strengthen the value of the naira,” he said.

Bishop Oyedepo Finally Agrees To Repair All Roads Leading To His Church

The stress people pass through to go worship at Winners Chapel headquarters in Ota is really traumatic. I have been wondering why the church can't spend money, they are more than capable, to fix the roads as a way of easing the suffering of the road users, particularly members of the church.

Finally, Bishop David Oyedepo has agreed to work all the roads leading to the church. He made this disclosure during the church's 2nd service as they're preparing for the December 2015 Shiloh. Good!

How Women are Fooling Men With The Deceit of Love

Deceit is reigning supreme in relationships and marriages, wives now compete to outsmart husbands:

A conference for love...
Heard about the man who told his wife he was off for a three-day church conference. ‘Okay’, said the wife but first, let us pray. She said, ‘Lord, grant my husband great journey.’ ‘Amen’, he shouted. ‘Weaken his manhood, if he tries to commit adultery’. The husband was silent. ‘Kill him if he commits….’ At this point, the husband shouted, ‘Shut up, shut up.’ ‘I am no longer going on the trip’. ‘The Holy Spirit has just told me the conference has been cancelled’.
A new wife...
I sometimes wonder how women feel with situations of cultural attitudes or religion approval for men to marry more than one wife. Mallam was in Saudi Arabia recently asking Allah to provide a second wife for him. Sadly, he had forgotten that his wife was right beside him. Often you cannot blame the men, but other women, who are always eager to marry a rich man, not minding if he has a wife.

How Women are Fooling some men...
The fact is that men are involved in relationship struggles and battles daily. Many men are at the mercy of women. Some men think they are smart to have caught a woman. Whereas the smart man realises that he is the one that was hooked and caught in a cage! In this relationship, you are allowed to perform and pleasure the woman occasionally. If she is happy, you even get to buy her a present. If she is not satisfied, you get hypertension.

Having many wives is no fun at all. Now, what do you say about men who have many wives? I once saw one of them at 50 years of age complaining of a bad back. Really, just a bad back! No hypertension!

Another love joke...
A guy and his wife are sitting and watching a boxing match on television. I think it was one of those quick Mike Tyson fights. The husband sighs and complains, 'This is disappointing. It only lasted for 30 seconds'! The wife replied ‘Good, Now you know how I feel.’ Apparently the husband doesn't last more than 30 seconds during sex!

NB: This is just light relief to make you laugh and reduce your blood pressure.

You Will Be Shocked To See What Was Found Inside The Trunk Of A Car After A Fatal Accident (Photos)

After a car accident in the city of Shangqiu, Henan Province, China-police discovered a batch of dog carcasses that were piled in the back of the trunk, according to local media reports.

Witnesses say that the black sedan, collided with another car earlier and tried to flee. However, they were soon stopped by the crowd afterwards, who smelled an “unusual odor” inside the car.

As local residents opened the trunk, they found the dog carcasses inside. Only one passenger in the black car was seized by the crowd, but a few others, including the driver, managed to run away from the scene. No one knows whether these dogs were killed before being loaded into the car, or suffocated during the shipment.

Later on the police arrived at the scene to remove the dogs from the car. The report said there were an estimated 40 -50 dogs of different breeds. Since the case is still being investigated, police declined to reveal any details so far.
