After the pair’s verbal sparring match on “The Highlight Reel” culminated in a ruthless, cell phone-assisted attack by Jericho two weeks ago on Raw, prompting Raw General Manager Mick Foley to give the combatant Superstars the opportunity to settle their differences one-on-one. With payback on his mind, The Underdog from the Underground began the showdown by hammering away at Jericho with a furious barrage of strikes, which took the decorated veteran off his game in the bout’s early goings.
