The future of the Spanish international is uncertain at Stamford bridge after being left out of the Chelsea squad that will face Leicester City following a bust-up with manager Antonio Conte.

Mendes has been reported to have had a discussion with Tianjin Quanjian chairman Shu Yuhui and the Chinese club are now preparing £80 million deal to lure the 28-year-old to China.

According to the report, it was explained that Costa who has been in good form for Chelsea this term in the Premier League will be earning £570,000-a-week should he accept to dump Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Costa who joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the year 2014 has scored 14 goals this term in the Premier League.
