CHELSEA MIDFIELDER DOESN’T WANT TO BE AT THE CLUB NEXT SEASON – REPORT

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t sure about this latest report from the Times…

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reportedly seeking a Chelsea exit, albeit a temporary one, this summer – with the Times noting that the Englishman has grown frustrated at the lack of action that he has received under Antonio Conte.

For once, the Chelsea fans are in agreement in response to this report – with many fearing that Loftus-Cheek could stagnate with another year of no action. Under Conte, the Englishman has rarely featured, with Nathaniel Chalobah often preferred ahead of him in the Blues’ first team.

An energetic midfielder, Loftus-Cheek has fallen by the wayside this season, which is disappointing considering how highly-rated he was by Jose Mourinho. His performances for the England developmental teams have been impressive, though Conte appears unimpressed.

It would be a shame for Loftus-Cheek to get lost in the loan shuffle, but our landlord thinks that he is good enough to impress at another Premier League club.
